60 points (full credit) – Paper is at least 1500 words long, written in the students’ own words, and includes citations in-text and in a references list. Paper has few or negligible spelling and/or grammatical errors. Paper includes 5-6 high-quality sources of information. Assignment is submitted on time.

-1 point off per 100 words short of 1500 words. Example: A rough draft of 1000 words would lose 5 points for being too short.

-10% (6 points) Paper is missing citations in the paper and/or a references list.
