Presentation on an Aspect of Group Dynamics
Each group will create a 45-60-minute presentation to the class on one of the following aspects of group dynamics:
Conflict
Include the following in your presentation:
- Summarize 3 theories on your topic that specifically apply to small groups
- Describe how these theories apply in groups you have experienced
- Create an experiential exercise on the selected topic, where each member of the class can recognize and understand her/his individual preference and style in a real life situation.
The presentation can take any form you choose – power point, skit, group activities that you process, group simulation, etc. Creativity is welcomed.
The student will also create and submit to the instructor 4 objective questions (and answers) on the topic. Two or 3 of these questions will be included on the 2nd test.
